Remember last week I linked to a cover of a song by Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin? It turns out that Jane Birkin was the inspiration for the Hermes Birkin bag that Red posted about a few weeks ago.

Incidentally, here's a cover of another Serge Gainsbourg-Jane Birkin song, this one by Franz Ferdinand. Apparently, there's a new Serge Gainsbourg tribute album.
