Uncool Songs
Liz Kelly of the Washington Post picked up on a story in Q magazine about "Uncool Songs it's Okay to Admit You Love." Brilliant! The best part of the Post article are all the comments listing uncool songs the readers love. It reminded me of a LOT of songs I needed on my iPod. Just this morning I downloaded "18 and Life," "The Devil Went Down to Georgia," "My Sharona," "Oops . . .I did it Again," "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go," "Ain't No Other Man," and "Eye of the Tiger" from iTunes. Make fun of me if you must, but add your own uncool songs you love in the comments. I've still got a lot of room on my pod.

Well, she did have "Ain't No Other Man," which is new and uncool.
Most of my uncool songs are country. Like "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?" Or old country like "King of the Road." Oh, also, some sleepy Perry Como tunes, like "Round and Round" and "Catch a Falling Star."
