

Ok, I'm really starting to get fed up with Us and it's coverage of this Mel Gibson debacle. I just checked the site, innocently hoping that they'd posted this week's cover, and what to my eyes does appear but one of Us's
infamous polls. This week - whose career is more in jeopardy based on their inflammatory remarks: Mel Gibson or Tom Cruise? And GUESS who is winning. That's right. Tom Cruise's rants against ritalin and the use of drugs to treat post-partum depression is a greater career threat than Mel Gibson's hateful anti-Semetic drunken ravings. I haven't felt this out of touch with America since November 3, 2004.

Reading the comments is even more illuminating. Everyone seems to feel sorry for Mel because he was drunk.
