Never Split A Winning Hand

SPOILERS! Well, your favorite bartender has been away for much of the past week. (No, not at Celebrity Fit Camp despite reports to the contrary.) Just some trips, for business and pleasure, to the cultural meccas of Shreveport, Louisiana, and St. Louis, Missouri. But enough about that.

So I finally watched this week's Entourage last week, and I was a bit disappointed.

1. The title--Vegas Baby, Vegas. Leaving aside the Swingers reference, shouldn't it be Vegas, Baby, Vegas? You are not referring to sin city as Vegas Baby but referring to the person you are speaking to as Baby. Thus, Baby should be set off by commas. At least that's how I've always interpreted it. Okay, enough grammar.

2. The whole Johnny Drama gay thing. It was kind of funny at times, but a little too obvious. I liked the ending but haven't we been down this road before?

3. The Eric/Seth Green feud. What is up with this? Does Sloan no longer want to be on the show? Where is this going? I mean I see the contrast/similarity between the two posses, but is this going to drag on?

4. And, nothing happened this week as far as the plot. Sure Vince went to judge a stripper beauty pageant, but that was about it? He has just trashed one studio and blackballed by another and this is what we get?

Okay, there were some good moments, in particular Ari's reaction to the jackasses move to split his 20. Yeah it worked, but we've all been there and those moves 9 times out of 10 kill you and make you want to destroy the guy who did it. But it was a nice twist. Heck, Ari in general amuses me to no end, but this was just not a great episode, maybe because Vegas has been done too many times. Nonetheless, I hope for more in the final 3 of the season.
