The Slowskys

I don't know if anyone else has seen Comcast's newest ads, but they feature a turtle couple, Bill and Karolyn Slowsky. Bill and Karolyn, being turtles, like things that are slow. Therefore, they prefer DSL to a Comcast cable modem because Comcast is just too fast. That's the sales pitch anyway.

Despite one's feelings regarding Comcast, the ads featuring the Slowskys are really, really cute. And Comcast hasn't stopped with television ads. Nope--the Slowskys not only have their own website, but they have their own blog! Through the blog we have learned that Bill and Karolyn took seventeen years to make eye contact with each other, Bill likes to travel the country looking at speed bumps and Karolyn likes to sit in her pond and shine her shell.
