Fantasy Leagues

Remember Wilder's post about a theoretical US Weekly Fantasy League? Well, we decided to make it a reality but today an article in the NY Times shows that this isn't such a new idea after all. There's a whole fancy Celebrity Fantasy League! For anybody interested, a new season starts on Monday and it looks pretty easy to sign up. Just a PSA.

This looks really good, although different in ways from a traditional fantasy league--you can track the progress of your friends but you aren't playing in a specific league--you don't have trades between people or waiver priority or anything like that. Although if we wanted all of those things we could set up a system for that, and just use this website to track our points. Something to think about.

It would definitely be nice not to have to score everything ourselves.

I don't know anything about fantasy leagues, but I was thinking that keeping track of one on a blog might be difficult.
