George?
What? George? Um, not so much. That just doesn't sit well with me - George and Meredith having sex. It should be Meredith and McDreamy (or McSteamy. I mean . . .). At least the previews for next week suggest it was a one-time thing (for Meredith, at least).
Looks like Addison will soon be gone. I'll be sad to see her go, though. Watching her watch Derek be in love with Meredith . . .
I don't have much more to say about this episode. Love Burke and Christina, well, love Burke and love that he loves her in spite of her. Alex and Izzie, cute, but don't hold my attention. (Previews for next week show that cute guy Izzie treated a few episodes ago. Now that should be more interesting.)
After the Code Black, this episode simply dragged and there just ain't much more to say about it.

Different junkette here to say: I disagree!!! I thought Mere's reaction to George's declaration of love totally fit her character, and George's reaction to her was spot on too, and I'm always in favor of characters acting like they ought. Mere has a long history of using sex to make herself feel better (see: myriad bar pick-ups) and George's declaration of undying love was just the comfort she needed after sitting in Joe's with McSteamy holding out hope that the dirty mistresses might actually win one. And George is of course going to go for it because he's in love with her. I'm actually really excited by this turn to the love pentagon (could they please not bring in any more sides, geometry is not my strong suit) because it seems like it will move things forward. George's endless pining was getting old. I have more to say on this . . . maybe I'll think it through and make an actual post, but for now: Team Pop Culture Junkette is a house divided.
I can't see George and Mere together either! And I will be even more annoyed if Addison leaves and McDreamy then decides he can be with Meredith since his wife chooses to go all McSteamy. I like her characture but if my spouse cheated on me....there would be hell to pay!
I despise Addison on so many levels...I HOPE she's gone! She can take McSteamy with her. That hospital can't withstand any more arrogance.
I didn't like the Mere-George hook-up until I read the writer's blog. It has a really good explanation for why they would have gotten together and why it would have been that night.
