I guess they weren't kidding

I don't know about you, but I had my suspicions that the whole Snakes on a Plane phenomenon might be an elaborate, slightly early April Fool's joke. But now that it's April 2, with no news to that effect, it appears that they really are making a movie about an assassin who tries to kill someone by releasing poisonous snakes on a plane.
